Aaaaaand, if my store has any copies of it, I’ll pick up the second printing of Spirit #1. If they don’t, I’ll probably track it down somewhere else. At this point, I pretty much imagine that if I interviewed Darwyn Cooke, he’d say something say like Ricky Bobby’s little bit: “Here’s the deal: I’m the best there is, plain and simple. I mean, I wake up in the morning and I piss excellence. You know, nobody can hang with my stuff.”
And I have sooooooooo much to read. I was out of town last week and was so busy preparing for my trip the week before that I didn’t have any time to read that week’s books, so I have a giant stack of books from just the past two weeks to get through–on top of a billion-some-odd pages worth of comics.
Bacon? Go learn more about the pork industry and then see how it tastes. Sorry to get all vege-politico, but it’s pretty bad. Best cuisine for me? Root beer.

Bacon is up there in the top 10, but I think bacon is enhanced even more with the addition of another top 10 food: cheese.
Health options aside, Bacon can be added to almost anything and make it better. It will always make it less healthy, but much more tasty. Salads, burgers, soups, anything. Use the fat to cook something in, it’ll taste better.
The cost of bacon, other than the whole heart thing, is that when you cook it, it spits hot grease at you. It’s the only food that bites back.

Only 52 for sure, but there’s a few things I want to look at, including the Spide Loves Mary Jane TPB. My bro-in-law will get Ult. Spidey and X and Action, which I will happily read.
Bacon and Gyros are the things that ultimately kept me from being a vegetarian. Just too tempting. But truly there are greater wonders in the cuisine world. Like how people figured out that cactus can be eaten. Or artichokes.
Use the fat to cook something in, it’ll taste better.
I cooked chicken in bacon grease the other night. It was glorious.

I used to love bacon, but then I went on the Atkins diet for a long time and ate a lifetime’s worth of bacon in 5-6 months. I lost a lot of weight and have kept it off, but bacon doesn’t have the same appeal it used to.

oh man…just read the new Green Lantern. It’s back to sucking. What’s going on with this book? I never thought I’d ever consider dropping GL, but this title is so utterly lame now.
