iFanboy Mini #36 – Grant Morrison Week: Arkham Asylum

Show Notes

Going way back to 1989, and Morrison’s first major Batman work, Arkham Asylum features the mind bending art of Dave McKean, and some seriously deranged happenings in Arkham Asylum.

Don’t read this one before bed.

  1. One of my favorites Batman stories!

    Great Job Connor

  2. Arkham Asylum is one of the best psychological Batman tales ever!  It always amazes me how many comic fans have never read this gem.

On a side note, I wish dave McKean would do more sequential story-telling.  He is missed.

  5. They’ve recently released a new version, with the original script in the back, plus some of morrison’s sketches etc. I’ve been reading comics, and batman in particular for about two years, and i only just picked this up…somehow it seems to fall off the radar. i think it’s quite polarising. but i love it; there’s just so much packed in it.
