  1. I’ve been reading these pretty much only because I decided to follow X-Men titles coming out now, but they’ve been pretty disappointing so far.  They don’t feel rooted in the X-Men world, and the story seems to be pretty transparently setting up a big "hey guys, fooled you!" reveal which is going to work, because none of us are fooled.  I’m just wondering if anyone pulling this believes that this is going to be worth reading in the end.

  2. Oops.  "is going to work" should have been "isn’t going to work", as in, the big reveal will seem mundane because all of the readers are expecting it.

  3. Ever since this series began it’s been very lack luster, the plot (what there is of it) makes very little sense.  I’m hoping that whatever big reveal they have planned *yawn*, is worth it, otherwise I’m dropping it soon.

It’s sad when you read a book each month eagerly hoping that one (or several) of the main characters in it will die and be replaced by better more interesting ones.  The only reason I’ve hung in this long is because I’m a New Mutants fan.

  4. i think it has possabilities but so far i am not crazy about it !

  5. I gave this book a shot, but I am droping it this month.

  6. I think When Scotty Young was on the book it had direction and the look of the book had a young xmen in training feel.  This team looks like a bunch of xmen rejects…"Ink" are you serious.  Also MARC GUGGENHEIM doesn’t seem to have an understand of the x-men veteran characters.  Wolfsbane cutting sunspot, an alpha level mutant, I don’t think so (and yes he is my favorite character).
