  1. I wonder how this will become even more fucked up.

  2. Is that even possible at this point? 🙂

  3. @Eyun Well, somebody could eat the…Nevermind…

  4. I’m thinking about picking this up tomorrow just because of the title. I’ve never read it…can anyone recommend it?

  5. @BatStewie – I can wholeheartedly recommend it. It’s pretty out there, a bit messed up, and certainly a "Vertigo book" (sex, drugs, swearing) but it’s a great story so far with really well fleshed out characters. The closest thing I could compare it to is the movie Fight Club.

Definitely worth your time, but start from issue #1 if you can find it, it might be confusing to jump in on this issue. 🙂

  6. THANKS! I need more comics without capes on my pull list.

I will dig up the back issues at the old comic book store.

  7. I’m actually thinking about dropping this… It’s enjoyable, and I like how you don’t know where it’s going to go, but I’m not in the mood for that sort of book right now. Been reading it from the beginning, this is my stop. Might pull it in trades in the future, I think Vertigo books often read better that way anyway.

  8. DON’T DROP IT YET!! :p

wait til this arc is finished. if you still can’t be bothered with it then I’ll let you drop it 😉

  9. I’m having so much fun with this book even though every character in this book deserves to be shot in the back of the head.

  10. @ultimatehoratio – Brilliantly said, lol! Even Sadie? She’s like the hot chick you knew at school that scared the shit out of you! 🙂

  11. @batstewie, it’s a very fun and twisted book, I hope you enjoy it!  I also recommend Scalped and House of Mystery, both from Vertigo.

  12. @ultimatehoration, thats sort of a formula ive noticed for ensemble casts on TV.  Every character is some level of jackass, and some part of at least one of the characters appeals to something in each persons deep dark desires.  Seinfeld, It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Arrested Developement.  That seems to work when done correctly, and this book definitely does that.

  13. @SunnyvaleTrash, thanks for the recommends. I love Scalped, although often I walk away from an issue feeling sad and filthy. House of Mystery is a title I definitely need to check out! Looks like a second trip to the Comic shop is in order this week.

  14. @BatStewie RE: Scalped – Then it’s definitely doing its job, I would say!
