Based on the upcoming hit animated show . . .
Upcoming and a hit?
That’s some hip hop type hype.
@ScorpionMasada It was upcoming when the solicitation was written three months ago. And every media company proclaims what they do as a “hit.” It’s standard media marketing. (And it WAS a big hit. 2.3 million viewers on the pilot movie.)
Exactly, hype.
I missed the show (dammit). Is the girl with the bow Speedy or Arrowette?
Neither, she’s Artemis. I don’t get cable, but I bought the first two episodes on iTunes. Definitely worth it. I can’t wait to read this.
@Rustyautoparts Weird. Is this incarnation tied to the Bana-Mighdall/Amazon character or something else? Is she mentored by Green Arrow or Wonder Woman? I need to watch the show!
seem kind of odd to have a comic of it so soon after the piolt. But I did enjoy the show, so I might check this out.
Show was awesome, not sold on the book, will check out at the lcs for sure.
@kennyg I’m not really sure. She hasn’t been introduced on the show yet, but I’m guessing she’s a cross between Wonder Girl and Arrowette as far as powers go. I was blown away by how much fun the show is.
I was gonna pass on this… but I can’t NOT buy a book with Young Justice in the title.
For the artist of Battlepug I’ll at least take a look.
I’m on the fence about this book my hope is it will be as good as the show.
I actually haven’t seen the show yet, but I did enjoy this issue. I’m looking forward to seeing where Art and Franco take the story from here.
Huh.. I really liked the pilot and since I saw this released digitally I picked it from comixology. I honestly thought it was great. Not sure why I’m so surprised but sheesh, enjoyed it a lot on my Droid 🙂
