YOUNG AVENGERS #7

• Three months have passed for the Young Avengers. What have they been up to? Fun stuff, I’ll bet. The sort of “stuff” that makes an excellent super hero comic. THIS IS TRUTH WITH A CAPITAL EVERYTHING.

• A very important breakfast. A new Young Avenger. A selection of emotions.

• Oh – I bet you thought we forgot about those Skrulls from issue 1. We haven’t.

  1. I love when they do the time-jump in comics, not everything needs to lead to the next thing.

  2. My first issue was last month’s and it blew me away. Went ahead and setup a subscription, I think I’ll be digging this for a while.

    • I’m thinking about checking this series out. I think my store didn’t have any of the last issue but maybe they will have this one. I’m trying to give some more 2.99 Marvel books a chance.

    • BCDX97: If you are going to read a 2.99 marvel book I would say this or Hawkeye are the ones to read.

    • I picked up both this book and Daredevil this week, plus I have added Hawkeye to my pull list. So I’m giving Marvel a chance – I still am avoiding the 3.99 books like the plague, though. I might be the only one, but I’m sticking to my guns!

    • I’m with you on the 3.99 avoidance, glad to see you’re giving those three books a chance. I read this and DD and they are definitely worth checking out, great books.

    • There was a lot to like in this book! It was damn fun. I will be adding it and DD to my pull list. Now I just need to pick up last issue and I guess I will get the first TP when that comes out. Very glad I tried it.

    • In regards to the $3.99 is that something you do solely for Marvel or does that logic apply to DC as well? If so why? Is that same logic applied to Indie publishers like Image or DarkHorse? If the majority of Comic Books started selling at $3.99 would that change your mind?

  3. This was really great. Tons of fun, and really playful with the form of comics. Like X-Men Legacy, I feel like this is kind of a subversive Marvel book. Tell all your friends, but hide it from “The Man”.

  4. Panels of the week:

    The “whats a Snufflefuffle?” Sequence.

    and PANCAKES.

  5. Man, is this comic getting better and better by the issue or what?!

  6. If Batman is a steak dinner, then Young Avengers is the ice cream dessert. Loving this book!
