Love what Venditti is doing here and looking forward to seeing him on GL and GL corps( I believe he’s taking over this one also. I know GL for sure.)
Arics gonna tear shit up!
Another strong issue. I really like how Venditti has been giving us shading to some of The Vine. Also, Nord turned in some fantastic art — that two page spread was amazing. Can’t wait for the next issue.
Just under halfway through my stack, but this is the issue to beat for POTW so far . . .
I have been reading all of the Valiant books since the re-launch last year and X-O has been my favorite of the bunch. The current storyline, Planet Death, has been pretty exciting. Aric is waging war on the Vine homeworld. Good thing he has a super powered sentient alien power armor. I like to think of this character as Conan in an Iron Man suit.
Another great issue!
Fantastic Stuff — yes, he’s kind of riffing on the Spartacus them, but man, it totally works. Each issue, the scope of Aric’s War gets bigger and bigger.
Nord’s art was great. You knew the armor would HAVE to come back.
