X-MEN: SEASON ONE PREMIUM HC

Welcome to the X-Men’s first year – hope you survive the experience!

Professor Charles Xavier has recruited five of the most powerful mutants he’s ever seen to save a world that hates and fears them.

But there’s only one problem: They’re teenagers who have to survive hormones and uncontrollable super-powers, all while fighting for their very lives. So right now’s the perfect time for Magneto and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants – along with the Sentinels, Unus the Untouchable and more – to make their bids for control of the world, right?

The first class of X-Men are forged in the fires of combat in ways you’ve never seen before. You only think you know the story!

  1. Oh! Beautiful McKelvie art. How I’ve been waiting for you!

  2. I’m holding off on buying this until I hear the reviews first. But then again, Jamie McKelvie’s art is quite tempting.

  3. I’m not even a big X-Fan, but I decided to pick up all the first wave Season One OGNs. Ya got me, Marvel!

  4. I’m going to get this eventually, but not this week. I definitely can’t pass up McKelvie art, and I love stories about the original X-Men class.

  5. Some of the upcoming Season One OGN’s are must-buys for me. The second wave of announced OGNs had more interesting characters and creative teams. However, this particular book has me quite interested. The X-Men really don’t have a definitive origin reselling a la Batman: Year one and Daredevil The Man Without Fear (just as examples)

McKelvie is a great fit. And though I haven’t read any of Dennis Hopeless’s work, this seems like a great opportunity to give him a shot!
