  1. Not Clay Mann’s best work, inconsistent, some good introspective dialogue from Jenkins though.  Haven’t been following this, what is this impending threat approaching, or has it not been revealed at all?

  2. If this series were an ongoing, or even a limited, without any Schism attachment, it would be five starts.  The whole , mysterious death thing we can’t talk about in any kid of detail, is just retarded.  It takes away from the whole thing, and now I’m not sure they can live up to the hype in termsof the threat.

  3. There’s a preview of issue 1 in a bunch of the marvel books from last week if that helps Frank.

  4. Marvel at its finest again, this limited series was nothing but a cash grab. If you plan on picking up Schism #1 and havnt read this series, dont worry. you didnt miss anything.

  5. Look, if you know next to nothing about Professor X, Magneto, Cyclops, and Wolverine then this series is a nice primer to them. The Jenkins writing ranges from solid to chalkboard scratching irritating, but the artists they used were across the board excellent. The threat they can’t directly mention is a terrible, terrible device for which Jenkins and Marvel shouldbe soundly beaten abou the face and neck. Since I knew all their backstory, I found this fairly dull, if pretty. Definitely skippable for Schism.
