X-MEN LEGACY #232

“NECROSHA” A classic X-Villain hitched a ride on Destiny’s body when Selene brought her back from the dead. But this villain doesn’t want to be part of the Black Queen’s master plan. He’s got his own agenda. So it’s up to Rogue, Nightcrawler, Colossus, Psylocke, Husk, Blindfold and MAGNETO (what? You haven’t been reading UNCANNY X-MEN?!?!) to take this villain down. 1. Last issue was probably my favorite since the change to LEGACY.  Given the phenominal level of work Carey put out pre-Messiah Complex on this book, I’m very optimistic he keeps up the momentum.

  2. What sucks is that for Carey’s first Second Coming issue, Land’s doing the fucking art. Fucking lame. I hope this issue as good as the last one. Carey, Kyle and Yost writes my kind of x-book.

  3. Take a shot.

  4. Why o why can we not get Greg Land moved to drawing Deadpool? I have to imagine that would be a match of readership made in heaven and then constant Land bitching would stop (or at least drop a notch). If you sensed a disparaging tone towards those who love Deadpool (at least those who love it to the tune of 3+ issues a month) than I must say: You are very astute, sir.

Now stay away from my glass house. I just got the extra thin roof panes put in.

  5. how to get Land moved to Deadpool? don’t read aforementioned, or any, issue that he draws.  hate to tell you, but that’s how you do it.

anyway, what a great team assembled in this story.

  6. love the cover

  7. This is a prime example of why the X-Men are iconic.  They have the best villans in comics. Great pacing along with marvelous artwork makes this one of the best Legacy issues in recent memory.

  8. X-men at its best. Carey and Mann are crafting a very cool x-story.

  9. This was great! Did anyone notice the cover of the next book at the end? It said X-Men #233, no legacy.  I wonder if the are renaming this book X-men for, wha, the third time? Though I wonder if that would increase it’s sales?

  10. @AlanRob- it’s solicited as Legacy at least through 235.

this story is SO much better than the main Necrosha story in X-Force.
