  1. If I continue jumping on this title, will it finally die?

  2. heh, isn’t "jumping on point" pretty much the opposite of what this series is about?

  3. why is this book 3.99? isn’t it an ongoing?

  4. I’m starting to lose my enthusiasm for this series, but I suspect it’s about to pick up. 🙂

  5. This series has been picking up for me. The issues with the Sentinels in South America–those were the doldrums. Then the issue with Logan’s funeral was a complete disaster (though in unintendedly hilarious ways). But the recent issues were good enough, I thought. This isn’t going to set the franchise on fire like Whedon and Cassaday’s Astonishing did, and it’s not as good as any of the Claremont’s first run. But it’s decent enough if you happen to be susceptible to this brand of nostalgia, like I am.

  6. I know a lot of people aren’t happy about this series, but this issue was fantastic evil on display.  And I loved the last page, which always helps a book in my eyes.

Factor in I read this back to back with Black Panther and it just made a delightful What If moment for Doomwar.

  7. @RoiVampire: although some lcs’s believe so, Claremont was guaranteed 20 issues in the contract he and his employers have signed, so until issue 20, the company tries to promote this title to some retail stores as a limited series even though it clearly states it’s an ongoing in the distributor sheet. Pretty messed up huh?
