  1. Getting this through #40.

Is this title getting mothballed or getting the NOW treatment?

    • Partially answered my own question.

      From the February solicits:

      X-MEN #41
      Cover by ADAM KUBERT
Final Issue Variant by DALE KEOWN
      • FINAL ISSUE!
      • At the end of an era, Storm puts a team together to search for the start of the next.
      • In the field, will Angel challenge her for leadership?
      32 PGS./Rated T+ …$3.99

Jefte Palo! As the closer no less. Guess I’m on until #41, then.

  2. Yeah Im not too sad to see this title go, it started out strong but became insignificant over time. Uncanny X-Men, Wolverine and the X-Men, and All New X-Men are all better titles. Marvel should have canceled Astonishing X-Men before this title though…

  3. What a shockingly good issue. The emotion stirred up was great and non-stop-action to boot. A complete turnaround from the last issue (and first half to this story) that I had little interest in. I think I’ll have to go back and read it again. I also agree with daddy_ak74; astonishing should have been cancelled first.
