Love, love, love Wood on this book.
this is a really interesting book. Not sure about the line up and the back drop of AvsX has made it difficult for me to fully engage with it, but I am intreagued by Brian Wood’s take on the X-men
I thought I heard that after this arc Wood is gone. : ( anyone verify that for me?
Yes this is his last issue. He remains on Ultimate X-Men which is ramping up really well. I am sad he is leaving this title, he has done some amazing things with Storm. In the interviews he says its not the last time he will write the 616 X-Men so I have hopes there may be something on the Marvel NOW horizon.
So wait, why is Wood done on this book? These past handful of issues with him writing have literally been the only good issues of this entire series. Well, hopefully the next team can pick up where Wood left off.
