I’m very happy that I started picking this book up again. I really missed reading Peter David’s stuff.
Just sad it’s published by Marvel – don’t like them getting any of my money these days. But I will grin and bear it for PAD.
Exactly… I want to drop all of my Marvel books b/c I hate double shipping and the high prices and inconsistent art. But I still love this book, Fantastic Four and Hulk. Because I can’t bring myself to drop them, I stay weak and continue to buy other stuff JiM and Uncanny. Hopefully this Marvel Now thing shakes up the writers I like onto books I don’t and I’ll be able to drop this company altogether.
This issue was quite mediocre. If it stays like this it’s gonna get dropped. I don’t need two issues a month of mediocrity. Next issue sounds like it will be good, though.
