  1. Last issue wasn’t great, but giving the first story line to make it great. It may be that Earth 2 is the only story I need!

    • I agree. I thought the first issue WAS great, but the second was okay. Paul Levitz seems to be a bit up and down. Still bummed this is down so far on the pull list, though.

  2. Avatar photo jwt6577 (@jwt6577) says:

I get this book through DCBS so I only read issue 2 today. I’m still happy with the book and I’ll be interested to see if there’s not some Bat-trouble in Helena and Karen’s near future.

  3. I want this book to be SO good but I’m not excited about the villain at all.

    • I agree….this Villain (which I already forgot his name) is pretty lame, even though I also agree with mgriffith on the great cover and Levitz’s best work in years. It’s easily a pull for me, especially when you add Kevin Maguire and George Perez as artists. Even though I disagree with JDA190 on this book being better than Earth 2, I have faith that there is more to the story and this Villain…..I hope. Love the dynamics between the Huntress & Powergirl!

  4. Love that cover, and this is the best Levitz has been in years.

  5. I’ve been enjoying this book a great deal. I actually like it more than Earth 2. Though admittedly I was surprised by the direction that Earth 2 took. This book has two of my favorite artists working on it and two of my favorite characters together! I really like using Perez for the present day stuff and Maguire for the flashbacks.

  6. It might just be me, but I find this book insanely boring. Not sure how much longer I’m on board, but I’m waiting for it to crossover with Earth 2.

  7. Fun issue, but this is not a book that I could call a “must-read”. Fun, solid comic, though.

  8. Not a bad book so far. I am curious to when and how this is going to tie into the New DCU as a whole. I will stick around for a few.

  9. Helena and Kara’s early days in the main Earth are further explored while tidbits of information are dropped here and there. The flashback sequence in this issue was better than the present day one. Two things are currently disconcerting me though: Huntress’ glowing arrows and the whole thing about being immune to poisons… where is that coming from?
