  1. YES! Frankenstein arc is OVER! It was very cool seeing the Jean Grey school spilling over into All New X-Men. I’m hoping we’ll see some All New X-Men spilling into this book. 🙂

    • Me too. With the original five being at the school now, I don’t see how they couldn’t be involved. During AvX, Aaron proved that he can recognize the big universe events without having it steer his story off course, so here’s hoping.

  2. Looks like Headmaster Logan is gonna give Professor Monroe an “F”.

  3. glad the circus shit is over.

  4. 2 questions:
    1. Is bachalo completely gone from the art rotation?
    2. I got a promo poster for WAXM at the comic shop that was by an unfamiliar artist but completely awesome. Does anyone know what I’m talking about and is that who is drawing this issue/arc?

    • Pretty sure Lopez is replacing Bachalo, with Bradshaw staying on.

    • Bachalo will be the primary part of the Uncanny X-Men rotation starting in February. I know Bradshaw is staying with the book, but I don’t think we know anything else about the art team beyond May when Ramon Perez’s 5 issue arc should wrap up.

  5. I loved this book since the first issue, I literally couldn’t wait for the next issue. I even enjoyed the AvX tie in issues but since #19 I feel Aaron has taken his eye off the ball. Staring to run out of patience waiting for it to get back on track and back to it’s best. I’m a big Perez fan so I’m really looking forward to his 5 issue arc but If the story doesn’t improve I’m sadly going to have to drop it.

  6. Awesome issue. Jason Aaron keeps knocking it out of the park.

  7. I thought it was fine. Definitely better than the circus arc. And I liked the Jean/Quentin bit. But man, Bendis is taking Aaron’s lunch money right now…ANXM is currently where it’s at.

  8. The artwork here was mediocre at best, but I really enjoyed this issue. Like Quentin says, all this melodrama is part of what X-Men is all about. Always has been. It was nice to revisit that. As much as I love both characters, I’m still not sure Logan and Ororo make sense together, but I’m curious to see what (if anything) comes of it.

And we got to see how she brought back the mohawk! That was cool. Would’ve been cooler coming from a better artist.

  9. Fun issue, I’ve been on and off this series randomly, and its always been a pretty decent read. I think I might come back for the next one.

  10. I thought this was excellent, and back up to par for this series. Hated the murder circus arc, but I knew Aaron could get it together.

  11. I loved this issue, Jason Aaron is a modern Claremont here. The relationships, the humor and the awesome twist at the end. This is great stuff.

  12. Woo! This title is back on track! I’m really starting to like Quinton Quire.

  13. This book was a lot of fun….This title was on my chopping block because I thought the humor had tipped a little too far over the top, but this issue along with the new art, scaled it back just enough to still be hilarious while still being grounded.

  14. I love downtime issues like this. Probably my favorite issue of the series so far.
