WOLVERINE #16

In the wake of last issue’s gut-wrenching ending, Logan has turned his back on humanity and retreated once again to the Canadian wilderness. Is this the end of Wolverine as we know him? Or the beginning of an all-new era for the ole’ Canucklehead? Or perhaps even both.

  1. FIRST! I’m hoping for some violence in this though I dought it’ll happen. I prefer the “out killing for revenge Logan” than the “depressed I wish I could die Logan.”

  2. Maybe he puts on a power restraining collar and decides to drink himself silly.

  3. Im glad this issue like the last although really good still are the only 2 issues before leading into this new arc taking Wolvering into Chinatown to kick some ass. Jason Aaron was mentioning this is going to set a completly different tone from recent story arcs in this series and im hoping for some fun.

  4. “All it would take is just one Snikt”

ok arron, since when as wolvering ever called popping his claws by the sound they make?

    FAIL.

that aside, another amazing issue. If it wasn’t for Uncanny X-force this would have been my favorite series

  5. Well that wrapped up rather quickly. Sometimes all ya need is a quick pout, ya know. Honestly I’m glad Aaron ended this swiftly. I’m all for sad Logan, but it gets boring real fast. And I’m not one to whine about continuity, but with all of Logans other monthly appearances, not to mention the rents of Schism, he just doesn’t have time to cry in the wilderness.

Lookin’ forward to the next one as usual.

“They’re wrong. Every damn one of ’em. ‘Cept Namor. I can’t swim worth a damn.”
    Fuckin’ brilliant.

  6. So does the last panel pretty much confirm that this happens right before Schism?

  7. Well is this series over?? I looks like it at the end of the book. I like a little savage Wolverine once in awhile keeps reminding us all that he has severe animal instinct issues.

    Just sayin’,
