  1. Sucks that Brubaker is leaving this book! At first he said he was staying on the book as his only Marvel book and going off to do creator owned work. Not sure if I will stay on after he leaves. Marvel NOW! is making it easier to drop books I am less interested in, but without renumbering, it makes me look bad to drop books at my comic shop.

  2. Once Bru is gone, so am I. I’m disappointed that he changed gears so quckly after saying he’d be on it as long as it lasted.

  3. Ah c’mon guys, don’t give up on Bucky yet. Jason Latour deserves a chance to win you over at least, and they still haven’t announced who will draw it, it could be someone really good. I’m gonna stick around for at least a few issues after Ed is done, because I enjoy Bucky’s story, and the supporting cast.

I’ve enjoyed this second arc, and Leo messing with Bucky and Co. It will be interesting to see how far Brubaker takes it, and how much it will cost Natasha and Bucky in the end.

  4. as long as it has super-spy action, a good parade of villains, and awesome art, I will be on board

  5. Just subscribed to this, then learned Brubaker is leaving.

Hoping Jason Latour et al keep up the high standard set by Ed and Friends.

  6. Holy crap this issue was awesome. A bit predictable and this has the same kind of feeling that Brubakers run had on Cap had during his assassination by Sharon but I really like the twist with Leo, I hope he is kept as an antagonist for a while and perhaps an ally? If Bucky can be saved I dont see why Leo couldnt. As usual the action/tension is really well done, it really makes me feel like im watching a movie than reading a comic book. But I’m very said to see Brubaker go but I will give Latour a chance. I hope Brubaker at least had some say on who would take over after he left, if Latour is Brubaker approved, I’m sure he’ll do a good job.

  7. I like this arc much better than the first even though the Gorillas with machine guns were nothing to sneeze at.

Simple elegant intelligent storytelling with effective attractive art. It shares those same qualities with Waid’s Daredevil. These books aren’t trying to reinvent the medium, but they know what comics do best and make the most of that.
