  1. I really enjoyed the first issue by Latour and Klein. The story kept my interest, and Klein’s art was fantastic. I’m looking forward to where this new team takes Bucky and his badass buddy Robards.

  2. Yup. #15 was great. Far better than I would have guessed. And Kleins artwork and coloring look awesome.

  3. This team is doing the title justice. 16 was a solid issue.

  4. I want more than anything to like this… but honestly, I had a hard time following this issue. I read it twice, and I’m still not entirely sure I have it all down, which is unfortunate given all the exposition. I also wasn’t 100% crazy about the art. I love the character and still feel like I owe Brubaker and Guice so much, so I’m going to keep on it, but I hope it improves a bit.

  5. Would you guys recommend this arc to someone who dropped out due to missing issue 3 and not continuing? Is it goofy like the gorilla with the chain gun and the Doctor Doom attempted hit?

    • Not goofy. I think that, all you would really need to know is that Black Widow lost her memories of Bucky in the last arc.

  6. Well so far the new team is two for two in my book. I enjoyed this issue a lot. The art once again is fantastic, I like the look Nic Klein has going for this book; it’s still just as shady as the characters and organizations that inhabit it, but it has a cartoony element too that works really well. Oh yeah, and the Declan Shalvey covers are awesome as well.

Latour has done well taking the torch from Brubaker, and advancing Bucky’s journey. I especially liked how by the end of this book Bucky straight out says that he has been too selfishly focused on his own personal mission, and that he wants to seek out the truth for all the people affected by the Winter Soldier and Black Widow programs. I think this will continue to be the book that scratches my superspy itch, and I hope the sales are there to keep it going.

  7. In for at least the first arc.

Probably going to let the subscription lapse whenever it ends.
