Is this previously unpublished material? Or just the Planetary/Authority and Planetary/Batman one shots packaged together?
Definitely sounds like a reprint. I think the authority one was jimenez. I guess maybe DC thinks that Planetary picked up some new fans with the series finally ending and getting collected in trades.
From what I can tell, this is essentially a reprinting of the Planetary: Crossing Worlds trade without the Planetary/Batman crossover. I really don’t understand the point of this book.
I’m pretty irritated that these weren’t included in the Absolutes.
without the Batman one? damn, that’s the one I wasn’t able to get at NYCC in the half-off bin. as it turns out, buying the trade off Amazon is not very expensive at all anyway. grr.
