  1. Optimistic that the pace will continue accelerating. Like the direction.

  2. This is a great cover, Rick looks badass.

  3. Bit worried about what is going to be our crew’s motivation for getting involved in this new community’s problems.

Sure Kirkman will handle it well though.

    • I think Rick may be the new community’s problem.

    • Thought that was going to be the case for the last community. Didn’t play out that way even though I was excited for something like that.

Seen the teaser images for the upcoming arc. Don’t think that will be the case.

    • I think the last community storyline didn’t see Rick become the major issue – but I think it saw him heading in that direction. I rarely know whats gonna happen, but I’m looking forward to seeing it play out.

  4. This is amazing, Walking Dead is terrific right now. I can’t wait for the next one.

  5. Did this remind ANYBODY of a bugs life or am I going crazy?

  6. I got a lot of Seven Samurai vibes from the Hill Top’s conundrum 🙂

  7. Allright, I am going to make this comment and right off the bat I can feel the daggers in this debate. Here we go…. this issue I gave it a 4 and I think it is because of habit. The artwork in this comic book has been top notch, even for a black and white book; this has not changed since issue one. The problem is I think I am only reading this now to get to issue #100, which seems to be the big deal; perhaps really the only thing going on. Do not get me wrong I feel like a mindless walker every time an issue comes out and I can’t wait to devour it. On that same token I feel like a mindless zomibie and some times it feels like I am buying it because I am addicted to it. This new communtiy really does not seem any different to me than any of the others along the way. Please do not get upset, I am just saying this is how I am feeling and I am not afriad to say it; there is no way I should have rated a 4, maybe like a 3?? Artwork great and Mr. Kirkman has been awesome and still kicks ass its just I am getting a little run down with this title right now. I will continue to pick up the remainder of the issues until #100 even if they were blank since I am addicted and I have been very faithful to Mr. Kirkman as I am sure we all have and maybe some of us more than others. Unless there is a new plot twist incorporated I am going to start to pull away after issue #100. I know that this is all about Rick I remember that, it’s just how many times and emotions can we squeeze out of him?? If carl is eliminated I won’t be to upset and that would get rid of the final straw and Rick will probably begin to head south if you know what I mean. When he kissed Andrea I did smile a little bit and it made me feel very happy for them, and also get the feeling issue #100 will be the end. If it is not the end of this series then it will be the begining of the recovery is what would be intresting to see and how that effects Rick.
Straight forward this was a decent issue and thats it.

  8. That cover made me expect a WHOLE LOT more than what actually happened in this issue. A blood splattered cover with CONCLUSION written on it in red…..thats strong art direction that’s selling something epic. I like where we are going with the story and the new threat, but i was page turning expecting a “holy crap” moment that just did not happen.

  9. ….

This book is excellent and a great end to the arc.

It provided me with the motivation for Rick to get involved in a way I didn’t expect. Trading their services as bodyguards/enforcers, very cool. It was foreshadowed in the original community when they policed it and took orders from the main dude.

The setup is ripe for conflict and not just action.

It places his people in an awkward position of being whored out for policing when they just want safety.
