  1. Finally! I have been waiting for this title for too long, although I’m sure it will be worth the wait!

  2. The wait was ridiculous. I guess Kirkman’s "on time in 09" is now "never again in 2010".

  3. I’m going to say it’s safe to say to expect delays while the TV show is coming together. Hopefully we don’t get Kick-Ass magnitude delays.

  4. …oh yeah…

  5. …there was a delay?

  6. Is it just me or is this no up on Diamond’s site.

  7. There was a month delay.

  8. I hate these month late issues because it seems like they take 5 minutes to read.  I still can’t wait.  Hope to see Glenn going into DC to forage for supplies, similar to that early issue with him and Rick rubbing zombie parts on themselves.

  9. @scorpionmasada just a month?shit, in this day and age that’s on time.

  10. Yeah, I don’t have a big problem with the delay. I buy a lot of my stuff in trade, so what does a month or two matter when you love a book.

  11. After issue #72, Im moving back to trades. I used to read this in trades and moved to singles but with the delays and the fact that the series reads better in trades, Im going back to the trades.

  12. ive tried trade waiting this but i just cant do it. I need to because with all the new marvel and dc books coming out, my wallet is crying. I know i wouldn’t be able to stick with it.

  13. @NawidA – *slowclap* Clever.

  14. @Fvckstick

I think you can afford $1.50 every month.

  15. Anyone else feel like Kirkman is purposely lolling us to sleep?  As always, I enjoyed this

  16. Best issue since #48. And yes, I’m aware I said this about the last. Now this is why AMC is picking it up!

  17. Wow. That last piece of dialogue was a jaw dropper. The whole issue I was waiting for the other shoe to drop. Things can’t be as good as it seems. Very nice and unexpected character turn.

  18. @NawidA – maybe it’s cause im sleepy…but i dont get it. I love this book and don’t think i could wait to read it in trades. But with all the relaunches and new series coming out of DC and Marvel, it makes me want to try to trade-wait. It does read amazing in trade.

  19. @Fvckstick, I’ve been considering the trade wait for a while now. Slower issues like this do so much to move the plot forward, and there are great character moments, but I’m not sure how well they stand on their own as issues, especially since we have to wait a month for the next bit. But those trades, coming out just twice a year…that’s tough. Still love this title and really liked this issue btw.

  20. @JagueNargg – oh yeah, the last time i tried to trade wait this motha was right before the hunters arc. Then i saw the cover of 64 and had to get back on board. Slow arcs/issues read so fast and feel (at the time) that it wasn’t really completeling anything. But man…this book can be the most amazing thing in issues (66 stands out so far as my favorite single issue of the series yet). I just know i really don’t have the willpower in the end.

  21. @DoctorColossus I agree that least peice of dialogue from rick has to come to fruition eventually, wouldn’t be walking dead if it didn’t

  22. The small conversation that Rick & Carl had right before going back home was good stuff. Carl is a badass. In the letter hacks, Kirkman claims he’s got some wild, wild shit planned for #75 that’s gonna make us TWD fans wet ourselves or something along the lines, haha. I can’t wait.

  23. Last page made my arm hairs stand up. These people are so fucked up.
