  1. Looking at the art credits, it seems like Marvel must have read my complaints about not having a regular artist on this comic and has decided to troll me…

  2. Fowler was amazing, what is he up to these days? I would love to see someone other than Lan Medina, his art is too realistic for symbiotes and monster.s

  3. Love this book

  4. Loving this book as well. Not liking the Eddie Brock in Toxin suit tho. Out of all the people to put on a Symbiote suit. You’d think Brock would have the most control over it. He’s been wearing since the late 80’s.

  5. Great issue, it’s a shame that Remender’s leaving this series soon. Once he goes, I go. I’m more attached to him as a writer than to the character himself, and there are too many other books I’d rather read, just in terms of characters.

  6. I’m sticking with this title till the very end! Loving it way too much!

    • same here! Still Eddie Brock pissed. >:)

    • I knew certain people wouldn’t like the Brock/Toxin entity. But in my honest opinion i thought it was a fun idea! I would love to see Venom inflicting some serious damage though! Like using his super strength more often and tearing people asunder. And is it me, or does Lan Medina do a great job illustrating this? I really dig his style.

  7. Ugh, this is comics by the numbers. My least favorite issue of this volume of Venom yet. Being between writers (and artists) is really showing. Very generic narration boxes lead into a really rote punch-up with a disposable villain. Jump cut to some very out-of-character torturing of another villain that’s supposed to show us how pushed to / over the edge Flash is. Then we get one of the most cliched category of reveals in all of comics. Oh no! Shock! How can it be?

I know Cullen Bunn can write better than this and I bet he will once he’s left to his own devices and Remender’s off the book completely. It must be hard making something out of another author’s outline. With art this unremarkable, I don’t know if I can make it that far though. Last issue really had some momentum, but this one just feels like it’s killing time. Sigh.

  8. There is no need for this title to be biweekly! This issue added nothing to the story that couldn’t be fixed in a page and a half. Stretched the arc TOO thin.
