  1. Loving venom. Can’t wait for Savage Six next issue.

  2. I can’t wait for the story to start focusing on Venom again, but I am very happy to see some Kev Walker on this (and the next?) issue. If I can’t have him on Thunderbolts, I’ll take him on Venom.

  3. I’ve got a dozen issues of this to read to get caught up.

    And I’m on issue #8!

    • Why not just buy trades? You will have a nicer format for close to the same money.

    • I started this title as a subscription title with Marvel, in issues.

Then they removed it from availability as a subscription title.

Also, I’ve run out of room to store any more trades.

And sometimes I just like to sit down with a pile of issues.

If the public library had all of the relevant trades, I might read their copies.

Really depends on how the mood strikes me.

Guess I’ll be buying more bookshelves soon.

I swore that last one would be the last one.

      😉

    • Cool. I love the hardcover books but understand the space issue.

    • I’ve got forty year’s-worth.

      8)

The first “comic book-related book”, that is, the first hardcover that I ever got was Comix, by Les Daniels, for Christmas in like ’71 or ’72. So I’ve been collecting hardcover books on the medium, the history of the medium and the great auteurs in the medium for four decades.

That’s why the issues tend to pile up in longboxes in the closet. And why there’s not much room left for trades. I started buying trades when the Marvel ones still said “Marvel Graphic Novel #X” on the cover. I’ve got like six of the first twelve or something like that.

I also collect science fiction short story anthologies in trade from the two best editors, as well as history, magic and a couple of other subjects, so the shelves are bulging and overflowing, and there are books in drawers, closets, etc.

I’m about ready to begin the “sell” cycle.

      Cheers.

      🙂

    • Very cool.

I also have a huge collection of books.

I’m very selective when it comes to what remains in my library even though I have space. I periodically review my shelves and donate trades that “don’t belong” in the comic shelves of excellence.

  4. What an awesome issue 5/5, can’t believe the Human fly actually is a decent villain.

  5. Ha I really liked the end of this.
