Yay Mr. Bun’s back!!!!
and the Tinker!?!
This should be a lot of fun. I know folks around here have been thinking this series is going to end soon, but I recently read an interview with Carey and Gross where they said the plan is for somewhere around 75 issues! I was stoked to read that, and I’m excited to be along for the ride.
For some reason my store never got 35.5 I hope they get some more this week. I am way behind on my reading in this series, and the .5 issues didn’t help, but I still don’t wanna miss out.
Well, business as usual with this one, great story and wonderful artwork. Mr. Bunn is funny as hell. Old man Tinker was charming, especially when he unloaded his satchel. The title of the book definitely has a deeper meaning. Month in and month out, The Unwritten never disappoints. Tom and Richie sure have their work cut out for them now, it seems like the possibilities for this story are limitless. Any book that can have Sancho Panza, the Cyclops, Three Musketeers, and the polar bear from Golden Compass in the same scene, and have it make perfect sense in the contex of the story; deserves the attention of the “Leviathan”(wink)
I’ve been a faithful fan since #1 but it’s starting to feel old for me. I really hope the next issue picks things up plotwise.
I have loved this since #1. I still do. BUT, why are they stealing from the Neverending Story? Oh, wait, that is the point of this book isn’t it…See, genius! Read this book!
