The last 2 issues were subpar in comparison to the rest of the series, yet the second issue still got a 5 from me. I enjoyed seeing a change in artists, but I really began to miss Alberto with the start of the second issue. He is starting to become one of my favorites.

best comic out there, pretty gruesome at times, but amazing art & writing.
I hate to say it, but I think I’m going to trades with this. I love it, but I think it might read better in chunks.

My thoughts echo pretty much everything you guys said — great series, the last two issues were slightly weaker, it was cool to see an African artist as a fill in, but I’m glad Ponticelli is back!
Not sure what I think of Ponticelli’s change in art style. Really apprectiated the scratchiness that he offered before his break in art duties. Maybe it’s just me, but the eyes of many of the characters looked off with the new style.
Really loved the story, was almost my POTW, but I thought Brubaker just smacked it out of the park this week with Criminal.
