  1. My subscription ends just about the same time that this does.

I already subscribed to Bendis’ ANXM.

    Can’t wait.

  2. It’s gonna be a sad day when I can’t go to a comic store and pick up a new issue of Uncanny X-Men or Amazing Spider-Man (been collecting them since I was 7). Ah well, there is always their spiritual successors.

    • I feel you. I’m definitely not fond of the name for either of the new ones. “Superior Spider-Man” and “the All New X-Men”. They just don’t have that ring to them.

    • Same sadness here, I started collecting Uncanny X-Men with issue #210 in 1986. First I had to deal with the re-numbering, now I have to deal with no Uncanny X-Men? I have been a devout Marvel fan for over 20 years, but they are really disappointing me lately. Maybe that’s why I find myself picking up more DC (Batman) titles and Image titles

  3. I liked the Colossus and Magik story but beyond that this was pretty weak-sauce for a final issue. Gillen is a bit too hot and cold for me. AVX Consequences #2 was brilliant and exciting. This… not so much.

  4. Did the Unit story ever get wrapped up?

  5. Just finished reading this and… yeah, nowhere near the impactful end that the last “final issue” was. For completists only.

  6. I kinda thought the whole Gillen run was “for completists only.”

  7. This was a good issue but it didn’t feel like a final issue at all. I’m expecting a lot of this to get tied up in AVX: Consequences.
