  1. I’m going to give this a try.

  2. Debating if I need to pick this up or not. On the one hand it’s more Miles Morales, and on the other, it’s a goddamn .1 issue. decisions, decisions.

  3. I’ll never understand why folks don’t like getting extra issues. So excite.

  4. New venom is in this issue people!!!

  5. Not sure why (and I may be in the minority here) but I’m really missing Peter! Still holding out hope for a comeback in the Ultimate line!

    • I’m right there with you. But unfortunately in the Ultimate universe, dead is dead.

    • i’m glad Peter’s dead. it’s ridiculous how many books Peter Parker is in(regardless of which Marvel U) and i can really appreciate a universe were “dead is dead”.
besides, Miles is so new and interesting. sky’s the limit.

    • Peter’s dead and feasting with the other fallen heroes in Valhalla. Why would you want to rip him from Paradise? He’s earned his reward.

  6. is the 2.99 price drop permanent or is it just for the .1 issue?

  7. Issue 161? weird. Will miles be like 30? Or is this some 2099 jazz?

  8. Just curious, if I am a subscriber to Ultimate Spider Man, will I get this issue mailed to me, or will I not? Obviously, I want this, but need to know if I need to get it when I stop by my LCBS or not. Anyone know anything?

  9. “Gigantic caliyoodas”??

    Anyone?

  10. Head’s up, this story takes place after the whole Divided We Fall/United We Stand storyline, and if I’m not mistaken, we’ll still have at least one more Spidey “United We Stand” issue to go.

  11. While reading the issue i thought to myself, self, this is a really good issue! i’m quite enjoying my purchase! Then i got to that last page…… Awesome. if i could give it 6 stars i would.

  12. The 2.99 price point was interesting with this one. Clearly Marvel dropped the price to attract new readers along with the point one status. However, what the 2.99 price actually meant was that the book did not include a free digital copy code. This was a bit frustrating for me because I buy the paper issues to read myself and use the digital copy codes to load them onto my daughters iPad for her to read. Therefore, I would have to buy this issue for a second time to be able to put it on the iPad.

  13. was HATING Betty Brant the entire issue. i wanted to see something bad happen to her, so i may have manifested that last page. when did Betty become such a cold-hearted bitch.
