I wish the Ultimate universe would just implode. The first two volumes of Ultimates were good. Should have ended after volume 2.

At least Loeb isn’t writing it. New Ultimates and Ultimates 3 was suckcity.

Man Yu is amazing. The story? Average Millar, a hell of a lot better than Avengers 3 though. There were some reminders of Ultimates 2, but I’m still struggling with the idea that the Ultimates don’t know about the black ops team…BECAUSE THEY’RE THE SAME FUCKING TEAM!!!

I don’t get the confusion. It is the first issue, it is setting up a plot. I am sure there is going to be a reference to the Death of Spider-man especially in issue 3 if not 2.
It’s confusing when a company markets two series as being part of a single storyline, yet when I read the different parts I can’t find any common thread, but rather I only see incompatabilities (Iron Man is very different in USM and in this). So, is this (Death of Spider-Man) supposed to be an “event” or am I just misunderstanding?
@mikeandzod21 they seamed to know about them right off the bat. when the black ops team is mentioned right in front of thor and cap nobody bats an eye. and really only hawkeye is on both teams although the did go up against cap a few mini’s back

@RoiVampire Agreed and agreed. It “felt” right to me this time around.
Why did they have to derail that train there? And what was up with the whole teleporting to the desert stuff? I think those were the confusing parts.
@franktiger the teleporting in the desert is the aftermath of what happened in Ultimate Avengers 3. If you didnt read it dont waste your time story was meh and art was sooo bad it will make you want to stab your eyes with a sodering iron. Anyway I really enjoyed this hoping this keeps up with the 1st issue to maybe millar is getting his mojo back *fingers crossed*. Also hope this spells the end of Loeb writing ultimate comics
