  1. no idea how good this was going to be. Feel like Fantastic Four a bit though. Still good. Old school indeed.

    • I had high hopes for this but I thought the first issue was so dumb I didn’t read anymore. I’m all for comics with an 80s retro feel, but this was just too bland for me. Old school is cool but dopey ain’t.

    • my hopes were not high. So I guess I may be skewed a bit. Never been in Byrne at all. Hokey and dopey are sometimes two things I need admidst all the new 52 and what not. 🙂

    • I love the old-school vibe. It’s like new adventures of the old FF, but with different characters and not a ton of continuity to bog things down. I wouldn’t want every comic to be like this, but I really enjoy it.
