    no idea how good this was going to be. Feel like Fantastic Four a bit though. Still good. Old school indeed.

      I had high hopes for this but I thought the first issue was so dumb I didn’t read anymore. I’m all for comics with an 80s retro feel, but this was just too bland for me. Old school is cool but dopey ain’t.

      my hopes were not high. So I guess I may be skewed a bit. Never been in Byrne at all. Hokey and dopey are sometimes two things I need admidst all the new 52 and what not. 🙂

      I love the old-school vibe. It’s like new adventures of the old FF, but with different characters and not a ton of continuity to bog things down. I wouldn’t want every comic to be like this, but I really enjoy it.
