  1. Why is this only 12 issues?!

  2. I have to admit I was a little let down by this issue. I still enjoyed it, but it suffered from a case of people talking for 20 pages. There were some pretty good exchanges between Shade and St. Audrey–err Aubrey (wink), but on the whole this just set-up next issue.
The art by Irving was great, but I think the plot underutilized his strengths. He is at his best drawing up crazy-fantastical shit, and this issue had very little of that (The Egyptian gods were pretty sweet though). With how great this series has been for the past nine issues, I’m not too upset that this one wasn’t amazing; I’m still a big fan and look forward to next issue.

  3. Another brilliant issue, yet again my POTW!
