I’m torn with this, I want to like this more than I do. I’ll see what the next arc holds probably but if it doesn’t grab me I’m out.
I have a fondness for Hawkman and Hawkwoman since I first seen and read them in The Justice League of America many many years ago. Since then there have been some good times and more than not bad times for these characters! I thought for sure this reboot would be the chance for Hawkman and/or woman to come out with an awesome new begining and really take flight in the New 52. Well after reading the first two issues I found this to be a very poorly written and the art was just not very good indeed! Like the review by @Nerd-Raaage the fights scenes are even worse and there is just no way of getting to like the character or any one else in this title. I am feeling sad for another character in the New DCU that has come out and really just not worth following any longer. Sorry Hawkman old friend you truly are dead!!

I have really been on the fence with this book. Both the story and the art, but I feel like every issue the team gels more and more. I am really starting to dig the story and the art was killer in this one. I am gonna stick around for a while.
