   This book started slow but it’s gaining momentum and I loved it so far. The silent ghost-like Punisher with the blurring spray-painted skull sign is a great take on the character. I hope Cecchetto will be back soon and that he and Rucka will stick around at least for a couple of years.

   Oh my god…Matthew Southworth is doing part of this issue?!?! I loved loved LOVED his work on Stumptown. Hopefully he can recreate that magic with Rucka again for thiss issue!

     Heck yes, with Southworth I may need to start picking this series up. The art kept me from buying this and I am a huge Rucka fan.

     I thought this one was an example of a comic that really works as a single issue. Just the way they build up to that last page, lots of skill and subtlety went into this one

     The ‘does it read better in issues or trade’ really is the great question of our time though.

   great issue. love the story. i like cecchetto’s art better, but this was a pretty good fill-in.
   its strange, i felt a little bad for the dogs at first cuz i thought frank killed them. but, for some reason, im totally ok with him killing as many people as he wants.
