  1. I quite enjoyed issue 24, would have enjoyed it more if it was 2.99 But last weeks Avengers SUCKED TERRIBLY, so now I have my doubts about this and ever other AvX tie-in.

  2. I look forward to reading a huge pile of these some month soon.

Bendis and Deodato? This can’t be all bad.

  3. The first arc of this book dealing with Iron Fist was great, looking forward to more.

  4. I’m really afraid Luke Cage is leaving the team.
    I love Luke Cage.
I don’t want him to leave the team.
Also, when is Squirrel Girl gonna be offered a place on the team?!!?

  5. Only reading because of the cross-over, and really there are just to many Avengers books. I hope after this AVX they can bring this down to a real managable number like two Avengers books; thats all they need. There should be quality and not just quantity!!

  6. As a fairly new reader of Marvel comics, this issue had me somewhat confused as I knew nothing about who these characters were. I guess a Wikipedia visit is awaiting…

  7. I don’t know if Bendis knows about these characters – In Fraction/Brubaker’s run – easily the best of Iron Fist, and considered in the top 10 runs of comics in the past decade (on a recent article there) by IGN, Yu-Ti leaves Kun-Lun, disgraced, as an enemy of the people. Danny suggests Lei-Kung be the new Yu-Ti, and Orson Randall’s daughter become the new Thunderer. These facts seem to have been ignored in this issue. Am I missing something? I’m a big Iron Fist fan (when written properly, instead of as a prop on a team), but its possible that all of those events from the Bru/Fract run were erased, and Iron Fist was restored to 1990, along with is supporting cast. In all seriousness, has anyone who read Immortal Iron Fist ALSO read an Iron Fist story in the past 3-4 years to explain the return of Yu-Ti, or is this just sloppy writing?

    • This issue takes 100 years in the past, way before the events in The Immortal Iron Fist by Fraction and Brubaker. Learn to read the captions :p

  8. This wasn’t bad at all but it felt like a 0 issue.

    Not much going on.

  9. Really liked this. I am stoked that Iron Fist is going to be playing a big part in this whole A vs X story.

  10. Is this the first we’ve ever heard of Iron Fist having a connection to the Phoenix Force – or has that been laid in previously?

  11. Picked this up for the cross-over and boy this was a load of garbage! Iron Fist is some how connected to the Phoenix Force, why and just what for? I suppose we will find out here real soon it’s just for me this really sounds like we are reaching here, and I mean really reaching. This character has not been relevent in the Marvel U in almost 30 something years, I suppose this is where they are going to drop this on us. I really don’t care to be honest since he is such an irrelevent character, I just hope this is not going to pull us away from the fun that has started this maxi-series off on the right foot.

  12. Love Iron Fist so I’m glad he’s getting a spotlight, but I cannot stand Deodato’s art. I really, really can’t stand it.
