    Tanarus is the Celtic version of Thor so read him like a drunk Irishman. Prediction: he’ll either be slightly malevolent or just be one of those gods who couldn’t give a shit about civilians and starts racking up collateral damage.

    Truthfully, I’m more interested in the subplot of why everyone but Loki doesn’t realize this guy’s new. But that might be handled in JIM, so maybe I’ll drop this too. We’ll see.

    Sorry, Fear Itself ruined it for me, I’m in no mood to give it time and read how Thor will make his big return.
    It’s a shame really because I did quite like the Galactus seed story. Book dropped until we can get a better writer for the IMO best Avenger.

    Fraction’s first Thor stories (those one shots) were some of the best Thor stories I’ve ever read. I’ve read 30+ years of Thor stories, and this is new ground. I’m in. Fear Itself wasn’t for me but I am anxious for this story arc.

    I had to go back and skim the last issue because I didn’t know what was going on In this issue. I guess something happened in the Fear Itself books? I don’t follow whatever is happening so I’m dropping.

    for any one who is not buying this because of the new Thor, I wouldn’t skip it because of that, it seems like the old Thor will be back by the end of this arc (he already makes an appearance)

    This answered a lot more than I expected. Excitied about the reveals, but…was that Kelda with the witches? I was confused by this since we haven’t seen her in over a year.

    I enjoyed this quite a bit, apparently all Fraction needed to do to get me to enjoy his writing a thor book is to take thor out of it, who knew? I went into this expecting it to be my last issue because I havn’t really been enjoying it that much, but on the strength of this issue I’m gonna stick around for at least a little bit longer. Also, between this and iron man this week Fractions back to form imo.

    Many of my books were a consistent “four stars”, but when I sat down to analyze which book was my favorite for the week? It all fell down to this one. Fraction has taken a lot of heat over Fear Itself, but there have been many capable writers to bungle an overblown event. For me, this book and Invincible Iron Man have always been a good read.
