    I’m surprised editorial isn’t pushing harder to have more “stars” in the book. Isn’t Valkyrie a “warrior woman” already? Man, I’d try to cherry pick the best women from Avengers, XMen, etc to staff this team, hoping some readers of those books would come over too. My guess is this book doesn’t get past issue #12 at this rate.

    Agreed on the characters, however I am a sucker for b and c list characters. The art is also questionable. For a book featuring an all women cast and the depiction of women in comics under the spotlight, there is way too much tna, which is to say there is any at all. The covers are great though.

    Warrior Woman had an extremely arrogant personality…I LIKED IT! Truth is, in these sort of books, everyone needs to have their differences exagerrated, and Warrior Woman definitely leant well to that.

    I thought this was pretty fun, although the art was uneven. Val looked really beautiful in some panels, in others her “domes” are really awkward.

    I love how female-centric things are, for example, the All-Mother. Fun stuff.

    The civilian character is fun too.

    I’m still onboard as we head towards issue #4.
