In a different week, I would get this issue just for the cover.
It would be cool if the comic really did have a toy attached to that cover!! I’d buy that!!
Silliness in the best of the Defenders tradition. I would never recommend this book to anyone but darn if I don’t find it a mindless fun romp. I will say this is the most interesting Valkyrie has ever been.
The first two issues have been okay, there’s nothing bad about them, but the story is unfolding so slowly and there are so many as yet unexplained elements that I’m just about losing all interest in continuing. Things are happening, there’s activity, but I don’t clearly understand the point well enough to care, so I’m beginning to think that maybe this story/comic just isn’t meant for me. I gave it 3 stars, but if #3 ships during a heavy week I’ll probably just drop it.
