Following in the tradition of the original TMNT microseries comes the first of four stand-alone tales centering on each Turtle.

Raphael’s place in the world is uncertain and he can’t shake the feeling that he’ll always be an outsider. That changes when he finds another mutant, the arctic fox Alopex, who may have a new clue pertaining to the Turtles origin. Unfortunately she’s too busy being hunted alive to share the info! Will Raphael and his new friend survive the night?

  1. More IDW TMNT books? Yes, please. The ongoing is one of the most fun books I’m reading and I can’t wait to have two TMNT books a month for the next few months.

  2. Everyone loves Ralph

  3. ok i love that cover would make a great poster

  4. I just read the original for the first time last night. I hope thus is on par with the ongoing.

  5. Okay so the cover is drawn by the mouse guard guy, the name is just spelled wrong. Very cool.

  6. I “almost” missed this, I e-mailed my LCS this morning to make sure he put a copy in my reserve bin!

  7. Holy Crap! This was so good! so so so so good!
    Bebop and Rocksteady FTW!!!!!!!

  8. at first I was like “why would the fox girl let Raphael blindfold her and take her someplace unknown, but then I was like oh ok., Bebop and Rocksteady were an awesome addition, and I hope the Shredder gets to be the deadly badass we all know he has the potential to be. But why not show him with his Shredding gear on for the reveal?”

    • Well, his shadow behind him had the Shredder gear… maybe he hasn’t adopted the persona yet, hence the not-so-subtle allusion? Although if that’s the case then as a literary device, that would be some pretty transparent foreshadowing…

      Either way, awesome issue
