this will be my first TMNT comic. I was thinking about trying this series for a long time and now I’m excited (already ordert the first TP 😉 the current ark started in issue #22, right?

This series is just so mindblowingly awesome, I don’t even know what to say about it anymore.
this issue was the first of the new ones where I really felt the influence that Miller’s Daredevil had on Eastman and Laird when they were just readers not creators. It’s nice to see Waltz (and Eastman) carry on that part of the turtles origins. This book lapsed a little for me with all the utrom stuff, but it seems to be back to being one of the best books each month.
There are flashbacks to the previous story arcs and each artist that drew that arc, draws that page in this issue. It works really well, talk about the perfect icing on the cake!
