  1. This was one of my faves out of the reboot. Can’t wait for more.

  2. i hate bugs, especially abnormally large ones, hope it doesn’t ruin this arc for me lol

  3. Hmmm. Just read #1 for Tim Drake. This’ll be a game time decision.

  4. looking forward to seeing Superboy interact with this team.

  5. Sticking on because of Tim. Hope to see his old characterization return.

  6. Superboy was so good I wanted to check this out I love Tim and WonderGirl this has been great surprise of the DC 52.

  7. The pull list from the new 52 has stayed pretty big and there are a lot of good books on it. Last week I gave 4 stars or higher on 7 DC books. So with that in mind…. Teen Titans you are on notice… 4 stars or dropped.

  8. I enjoyed issue #1, but the reality is that I am reading this series primarily because it’s the only one in which Tim Drake appears. As long as Tim is in the book, I’ll probably keep shelling out the cash for it.

  9. The preview of this on CBR looks fantastic.

  10. I read the preview and while this issue looks fun and stuff, I am starting to notice Scott Lobdell’s “oldness”.

What I mean by that is, Lobdell is no spring chicken.

You know how your parents try to be cool by throwing out pop culture lingo that is 10 years old? Like saying something is “Da Bomb!”. Yeah, no one really uses that one anymore. Well Lobdell has Power Girl use the term “Outtie” in this issue. I gringed when I read this.

And again, Lobdell seems fixated on boobs. Like some dirty old man staring at school girls. Go read the preview and you’ll see what I mean: http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=preview&id=10233

    • Yeah, that’s a big problem. Hope it doesn’t pop up in this book too much. I thought he did a pretty good job of avoiding “teen speak” in general last issue. But we shall see!

  11. Man I miss Tim but I dunno about this book, if it looks good when the arc is done I will get the trade.

  12. Fugly logo.

  13. This book is good I gave it 4 stars but after 2 issues I am still waiting for an ” awesome ” moment.

  14. Ugh not Terrible but not great by any stretch. Think I’m dropping this one. May revist one day if I hear good things later.

  15. I thought this was fantastic. Booth’s art is energetic, and Lobdell’s storytelling feels more complete than most of the other new books. I’d honestly say that this and Swamp Thing have been the best of the new 52 at telling great issue by issue stories; while I’m loving books like Aquaman, the story goes by so quick I’m left asking “is that all?”

  16. I thought it was good but not great. Some of Lobdell’s writing was kind of…off. Some weird vocabulary makes it kind of odd to read on the page because its words that I’ve never heard a teenager use before. Maybe they should have gotten a younger, more… contemporary writer to do this project. But I’ll see how it goes. And in the later parts of the book, the “I/We” stuff was annoying as hell. Overall, its still good though.

  17. I’m really surprised by this book. I did not expect to enjoy it at all but I’m really liking it a lot. Tim is a great character, Cassie has a lot of potential and Bart seems like he’ll be fun. I can’t wait until the team is all together and actually a team.

  18. Kind of enjoying the chemistry between Cassie and Tim here… wonder if they’d go so far as making these two a couple and skipping the Superboy-Wonder Girl relationship. I loved Conner and Cassie together, but I’m enjoying Cassie and Tim a lot. Didnt go so well the first time around, but maybe this time? I’d still prefer Stephanie/Spoiler/Batgirl and Tim, but this would be great too.

  19. I’m really liking this title. It’s very different than what I’d imagine from a Teen Titans book. Liked Skitter…but liked the name Bugg better. And for whoever was hating on the logo, I love it compared to that awful rub-on tattoo flame logo we had before.

  20. loved it, the art was great and the story moves along quite nicely as well. And left me looking forward to the next issue.
Like JLA you know where this is going. But I’m okay with for just now.

My only problem is with the name Skitter! being from Scotland, a Skitter would be something that happens after a bad curry.

  21. I wish there were more known heroes to be known to eventually join the team. Like is Ms. Martian going to be on the team? And more importantly will we ever see who Kid Flash was talking to in the holding cell?

  22. Am I the only one that missed how impulse got into the cell. I went back and glanced at issue 1 and last I saw him there, he was rescuing people from a fire?

  23. Shortest incarnation of teen titans ever? the team hasn’t even oficially formed, tim….
