  1. How long until the WildC.A.T.s proper are introduced into the new DCU?

  2. This is a make or brake arc for me. Really sad that supergirl is the best super title going…

  3. I’m dropping this one. If it does pick up, I’ll grab the trade but I’m not holding my breath. It’s just so sad.

  4. Last issue with the new creative team was a step in the right direction……The book was soooo bad though it has a way to go…..heres hoping it keeps trending up.

  5. Nothing but respect for the current writers of Superman and their abilities (including Perez), but when you consider the talent and resources thrown at Batman (and the Batman Family series), this New 52 rebranding has been like Kryptonite to Mr. Kent.

  6. Before issue 7 I’d only read 1 and 2 and they were very disappointing. Last month was a nice tack back to a readable Superman comic but not all the way there yet. I’m hoping they can change Superman’s default setting away from emo-douchebag and get into a little more aw-shucks good guy territory.

  7. The last issue has really turned my intrest around in Superman and I am actually intrested in this issue. I know we got the whole Daemonites thing going on and I like it, I just hope we continue down this road with the better artwork and the feeling the writing is giving off in just one issue. It feels like a real Superman comicbook now and I know it is only one issue but; I get the feeling we are going to be very happy with this new creative team.

  8. Another good issue of Superman (gave it a 3.5), with some questionable artwork and panels. There were some spots where the close up on Superman’s face made him look different each time and were a little weak on his facial form however; I got passed that. The rest of the artwork was fair up until some of the action scenes which looked good and other spots not sure what happened?! For instance; the one page splash where the mountain top exploded; I am not sure how that happened at all really? Did he crash through it or use his heat vision or what? The page before was like him just getting beat on and then turn the page and KABLAMOO, mountain top exploded, HUH????!!
This new creative team has taken over and really done a nice job compared to the last, sorry to say that really did not take much it seems; sorry George you should have been doing the artwork not the writing. I think Helspont is going to be a villian to recon with in the near future here and Superman is going to get all he can handle. I like this title and will keep it on board for awhile I think on my pull list.
If you left Supes or have not tried it last issue was the way to start, if you can get a hold of a copy still. I am not saying this is going to blow you away or anything, I just think it is much better than the first six issues. Lets see where we are headed.

  9. This was not good, art or story. T_T

  10. WORDY!!!!!!!!!!

  11. Avatar photo consafo80 (@consafo80) says:

Thought this was even better then last months such I loved not too sure about next months masochist character though.

  12. Well I really liked this issue…..the story was better (a little wordy haha true but thats okay)……but I loved the art.

I mean Jurgens is always solid but with Merino inking him he looks awesome…..so I hope this art team stays for a while.

I think the Clark Kent side of things needs to get better but all in all Superman continues going in the right direction and things are looking up.
