Wow this comic has sure dropped in popularity.
I’m not surprised. After the last issue I can’t take anymore. i think at this point everyones waiting for Superman Unchained for their fix. I’ll come back to this when there’s a new writer.
It’s good to Scott Lobdell these days…
I agree. I’m definitely Team Lobdell all the way.
I like Lodbell. There are a lot worse writers out there – don’t know why the internet seems to bash on him quite so much.
Sometimes, I think some people attack Lobdell because he has fun with it. He’ll jump up and tweak the internet’s nose.
I don’t think Lobdell is bad (sometimes is bad…). To me, his writing is just average and uninspiring, or worst, predictable.
I’m not usually a Lobdell fan. But this storyline has me quite pleasantly surprised.
The Hel on Earth arc was pretty bad, but the stuff that Lobdell has done that’s not that has been pretty good. I just hope that when he takes over ACTION the two titles maintain their separation. I don’t want it to turn into defacto bi-weekly Superman book with the story bouncing back and forth between titles.
Rocafort’s art is gorgeous. And Lobdell wasn’t half bad here himself.
