  1. Since ish 50, I’ve been rereading my Supergirl issues.  It’s one of the first books that got me reading again and I’ve got every single one since it was rebooted.  It sorts seems like every issue, she’s questioning who she is and what role she plays.  I wish she’d actually have a plot.  Hopefully this is the last time she’s questioning who she is and actually steps it up.

Luckily, I see some Bizarro fun coming up

  2. @misterckent: Questioning who you are and what you are doing is a classic teenage story (superpowered or none). It’s a hallmark of the teenage experience.

  3. I’m glad that this comic isn’t gonna be crossing over with the other super-books for awhile! We can get back to some old school teenage superheroeing!!!

  4. I’m picking this up because I’ve heard great things about Gates/Igle’s work. With all the excitement of a new status quo and a (hopeful) turn away from mega crossovers like the New Krypton saga, I figure now is the time to jump on board. Looking ahead, it seems Bizzarro World might be making an appearance, and god do I love Bizzarro anything.

  5. I both missed this book and forgot it wasn’t coming out. Excited to continue with this, Gates/Igle has been a fantastic team this book.

  6. @conor…  I get that, but for 53 issues?

  7. @misterckent – Fraklin Richards has been a kid for over 40 years.  What’s 53 issues?

  8. @misterckent – Don’t even get me started on Archie.

  9. @PozrDu…very good point.  I AM looking forward to her team up with Batgirl.  They were fun in World’s Finest.

  10. Very good issue. Really excited to have this book back in my hands, as it were. Igle nailed this issue. Nice to get  a book where the main character isn’t in costume the whole time. (Dream aside.) 4/5

  11. I LOVE YOU, YOU PERFECT BOOK, YOU!!!!!
