  1. Did this ever finish up in issues, or just going straight to hard cover?

  2. i have the singles, but the hardcover price! $29.99 for 4 issues!  WTF?

  3. @PotatoPope  They finished the first mini-series.

@iSpiderMan  I believe there are many extras. They’ve been selling these early at the comic cons and it’s a gorgeous looking collection.

  4. I’m sure it looks great and I’m sure it reads great but, extras or no extras, I ain’t paying $30 for 4 issues. That’s $7.50 an issue!

  5. If I remember correctly each issue was 40 pages without ads, so it’s essentially 6 issues in length. Most importantly, it’s really really good.

  6. I have all of the single issues but this was so good in writing AND art that I may have to scoop this up from Amazon too.  I wonder if this is a nice over-sized edition.

  7. I hope my shop picked this up. I didn’t know it was being collected but thoroughly enjoyed the 4 issues. The color tones in this series are pitch perfect for the gritty Rucka story.

  8. A real winner…good luck picking up 1-4 in back issue if you’re on the cheap.

  9. This is worth it! I have the issues, including multiple copies and I’m still buying this.

  10. @MacAoidh  Apparently, it’s only 144 pages, if Amazon is to be believed, and that would include any extras it may contain. And, I’m sorry, I’m sure this is terrific and I’m a huge Greg Rucka fan but $30 is still exhorbitant for this much content. You have to draw the line somewhere,

  11. Guys, stop over-reacting. It’s not exhorbitant. It’s just slightly more expensive than the norm. Locke & Key has a similar number of pages and is $25. FreakAngels is the same number of pages and is $28. Wilson is $22 for 80 pages. X’ed Out is $20 for 56 pages. No need to call the daylight robbery police.

  12. I was a bit po’ed at the price of this, especially since it’s not available at Amazon yet, but I stopped by the shop, took a look at it, and knew it was absolutely worth it.  It’s oversized, good paper, some extras, and smells fantastic.  If you’re getting a tax refund, use a little of it to pick this up, you won’t be disappointed.
