STRANGE CASE OF MR HYDE #1 (OF 4)

Sometimes good police work just isn’t enough, as Inspector Thomas Adye of Scotland Yard finds out when he’s assigned to the Jack the Ripper case. He’ll need the guidance of imprisoned madman and amoral libertine, Dr. Henry Jekyll, whose mind-splitting serum Jack might be using to commit his bloody murders. Written by Cole Haddon and illustrated by M.S. Corley, part 1 of Hyde sets in motion events that will pit London’s two greatest monsters against one another. Will Adye–and his soul–survive intact?

* Thrilling Victorian horror written by exciting newcomer Cole Haddon.

  1. I love this sort of story and Dark Horse has really been impressing me lately so I’m checking this out.  Sorry to post from a site outside of iFanboy but this preview looks really cool.  http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=preview&id=8341&disp=table

  2. I’ve never heard of these two tales, Jack the Ripper and Dr. Jekyll and My Hyde.  It sounds like they could be Taxidermists: Ripper and Hyde.  Is that what this is about?

  3. I really loved the art, but the story was slow and boring. It was all rather talky and while I usually enjoy dialogue, little here interested me. This may be remedied in future issues–as there should be no more setup–but I am officially worried about the next issue.
