    I am very surprised more people aren’t picking this up. This comic echoes the feeling of Ellis’ original Stormwatch run, and is definitely worth a go.

    So far I am enjoying the wild storm reboot, I just wish Jackson would take off the lame sunglasses, very 90s in appearance.

    Stormwatch: PED: #15 – This issue’s firing on all cylinders and was packed with some great story elements. There was some great character moments through out the story, loved the nods to few of old WS storylines with the Church of Gnort, Finnland from Team Achilles, the Hawksmoor story from SHotA: Jenny Sparks, the Establishment, OH and a tie-in to Authority: Worlds End #3, I almost missed the reference – this issue wins the month out all four titles. Slayton: Gauntlet: I liked this back-up story, but I think it was a little weaker then the other two. It’ll probably read really well in one sitting since its really one continuous story and the others were more broken up into parts. Still though, an enjoyable little tale

    (SPOILERS)

    This issue was a little light on the action (yes, I know the Jon Drake intro had action but I’m saying overall) but set up an interesting plot point with the War Golem.  I never read The Establishment so this is my first introduction to Jon Drake.  His (re)introduction was cool and I also liked that we got to see the Church of Gort again.  It’s also great how they’re linking everything together.  Jon Drake had a HALO Battery, The High was taking refugees to the Masking Wall in Finland, and you even had references to past Authority stuff.  I can’t wait to see what that War Golem can do.

    The Marc Slayton back-up story was the weakest of the ones we’ve had so far but it was still good.  Seeing Backlash use his energy whips again was definitely the best moment for me by far.
