  1. I’m very surprised that this book hasn’t gotten more attention leading up to release. Brubaker and Eaglesham on a Steve Rogers book? What’s not to love?

  2. Is that a Pacheco (sp) cover??

Only 4 issues and super-sized, worth giving a shot

  3. Pulled all of my old single issues of Brubaker’s Cap out of a longbox this weekend and celebrated Independence Day by remembering the run that made me a believer in Steve Rogers in the first place. I really hope that this mini recaptures the feel of those first 20 or so issues Brubaker and Epting did together – I love the modern-pulpy vibe they were able to create together, and Eaglesham is just such a fantastic artist..

  4. Eaglesham is so AWESOME that I may have to buy this.  Plus it’s only 4 issues.  This better be great Bruski!!  You can do it!!  😉

  5. I’m very curious to see who the villain is here.

  6. Not entirely sure if I’m buying this. On the one hand, great writer, great artist, great character; on the other…a $3.99 Marvel mini, which is a category I swore I’d never pay for again.

  7. Can’t get enough Brubaker.

  8. The Eaglesham art was great.  His penchant for drawing big burly guys fits in perfectly with Captain America.

  9.  Finally the real Cap is back is his own book. And make no mistake, this is a Captain America book, he’s just in a really ugly uniform. But at least he doesn’t have a little half-jacket.

Too bad it’s only 4 issues.

  10. I love the new uniform and this was damn good. Now I gotta buy the rest of the mini! Damn you, Brubaker! 🙂

  11. Yeah this was great. The supersuit to tux to supersuit bit cracked me up. Nice cliffhanger so now I have to wait a month to find out what happens next, arrggh!

  12. As a totally straight male, I gotta say… Eaglesham’s Steve Rogers sure is dreamy.
