STAR WARS DARTH VADER & LOST COMMAND #1

Still haunted by the events in Revenge of the Sith, Darth Vader must set aside his past and put his future on hold for a mission to the mysterious Ghost Nebula to locate–and if possible, rescue–a missing Imperial expeditionary force.

But what seems a perfect opportunity to lose himself in his duty is complicated by two factors: he is paired with a willful yet highly competent co-commander, and the officer they are being sent to locate is the son of Vader’s rising nemesis, Moff Tarkin.

  1. nice

  2. I thought this was a mini?

  3. Rick Leonardi on art is a big draw for me…definitely gets a flip test in the store this week.

  4. @Meanmrmustid- I would not take the use of the word “series” to mean it is not a mini

  5. I think I’ve foung the Star Wars writer to follow, Mr. Haden Blackman. This is a great story. Vader is as brutal as he should be in the field even though he harbors and secret yearning for the past. The art is stellar. Both pensils and inks are excellent.

  6. This was fantastic.  Especially considering the week in which it was released and that it stayed fresh in my mind through all my other comics.

  7. I like seeing the anguish and turmoil Vader was going though. Too bad we never got any of that in the Original Trilogy.
