Really enjoying this series but I have gotten looks of comics with the Star Trek name on them that were crap. This issue starts an original story instead of retelling original series episodes in the new timeline. If I had something to gripe about, it would be the interior art. That could be much better, but the covers have been fucking awesome for each issue.

The art is pretty awful, but I’m enjoying an actual original story finally. Though the cliffhanger is a bit questionable…
I liked the cliffhanger but I certainly didn’t buy it…if that makes sense.
I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed this, it felt just like the movie.
I liked it too. Can’t wait to see where they are going with this one.
