  1. Why the terrible covers? Why?

  2. Yeah, the covers have sucked.

  3. I want to read some user reviews for this.

I’m not reading anything but the PowerMan mini.

  4. Looking forward to Wells’ Elektra one-shot…gonna finish this out but have been disappointed overall.

  5. Love the ‘Spirits of Venom’ vibe this thing has with the motley crew of street bound characters, and the fact that there’s a bit of life on the Marvel Universe streets again, but execution is lacking. Bit disappointing.

  6. Tapping out. Plenty of laughs in the last issue, but none of them intentional.

  7. You know what .  The whole Shadowland has not been half bad.  It has been a lot better then I thought it was. The Power man book is really good though.

  8. the Moon Knight book was pretty good. I’m in for the 3.

  9. This series is like watching big name actors in a horrible movie and hoping people’s love for the actors will put them in the seats.  I really love a lot of these charachters… Moon Knight, Punisher, Typhoid Mary, but this issue was simply flat. It also seems rushed and jumpy, but then again I am only reading Daredevil and the Moon Knight off shoot. Also, I am glad to see Ghost Rider, but is it just me or did Marvel just decide to forget Jason Aaron’s entire Ghost Rider run?

  10. This is the first time I had a good feeling at the end off a Shadowland issue. The execution is still very much flawed but It feel’s bigger.

That being said none of the jokes hit, the art style is nothing like Daredevil’s been like in years and not in a good way. And most of the dialogue is just so stereotypical. The only person I like is Black Tarantula right now.

  11. Loved the first issue, hated the second, liked this one. Classic Frank Castle in this issue. Good stuff.

  12. “Kung Fu THIS.”

This book was fun, but even is it wasn’t, that panel alone would have garnered this book 4 stars.

  13. The covers have sucked? Well, I guess they are kinda bland, but Billy Tan’s artwork looks like beginner quality. A better artist should have gotten this assignment — if this is supposed to be a big, status-changing event series.

  14. Tan did the Daredevil the List one shot so maybe they thought this would be good for him.

  15. Oh how Daredevil has fallen? It’s very sad. It’s not bad it’s just…sub-par. And now they’re canceling it and relaunching it after rebumbering it a year ago? Sigh.

  16. So Punisher is back to normal? How did that happened? I thought he got decapitated.

  17. Question. Where did Moon Knight pull his costume from? He had to swallow his lockpicks. What orifice did he hide the costume in?

@Joppe Nothing that happens in a Punisher book effects the greater marvel universe.

  18. @mikeandzod21- they aren’t necessarily relaunching and renumbering.  all we know is there will be a "Reborn" mini.  I’m guessing the main title, numbering and all, will be back after Reborn is done.

@Joppe- Punisher is on his way back to normal soon enough.  his book hasn’t caught up to where Shadowland is, but in a few months we’ll see a normal Frank back.  the new Punisher book has already been solicited for November.
